That’s exactly why I could never get onboard with The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra despite loving Ed Wood’s movies and other similar schlock. It’s one thing to make a campy movie not getting that you are doing so and quite another thing to do it intentionally and wink at the audience.

As a kid and now far in to adulthood, I have been entranced by Marvel Comics and the modern mythology they encompass. Star Wars was great but it still doesn’t have the breadth of stories and characters that Marvel has. It probably never will.

I watched it all the way through both seasons and I agree it was horrid. I learned my lesson and and not watching part 2 of rebel moon. 

I’m glad that somebody is excited for Kraven. It’s just too bad that the only people who are excited are Sony executives desperate for any of their live action super hero movies to be well-liked.

Kraven moved to Christmas because we’re excited about it and Christmas is the best release period there is, when you get people with time to go back to the movies over and over again. Cannes audiences seem really susceptible to hype.

I only watched like two thirds of the first episode. What were they even going for? 

Yeah. For reference, two of the longest standing ovations in Cannes history are The Neon Demon and Mud at just under 20 minutes. Neither of those films are worthy of a 20 minute standing ovation.
