I watched it all the way through both seasons and I agree it was horrid. I learned my lesson and and not watching part 2 of rebel moon.

Cannes audiences seem really susceptible to hype.

I only watched like two thirds of the first episode. What were they even going for? 

Yeah. For reference, two of the longest standing ovations in Cannes history are The Neon Demon and Mud at just under 20 minutes. Neither of those films are worthy of a 20 minute standing ovation.

Just this one is fine. The rest are still gay, unfortunately. 

May all of the neo-Confederates like Rock be inflicted with the dysentery and privation that killed so many of their treasonous role models during the Civil War.

I occasionally go back to Tim Burton’s Ed Wood just to remind myself that no matter how bad an artist someone is, that doesn’t mean at all that they can’t be a perfectly good and nice person who deserves happiness like anyone else. And if they’re still proud of their work, that should be celebrated.
