My biggest gripe was the way it handled the female characters. I liked the game overall (especially drunk baby Batmobile) but its treatment of Barbara, Poison Ivy & Catwoman really bothered me.

I thought the game was amazing mechanically, apart from bossfights which have never been Rocksteady’s strong point, but the plot and characters (bar Joker and Scarecrow) weren’t that good to be honest. Half the game it felt like Batman wasn’t having any progress as a character as he constantly makes the same mistakes…

For me, it would have been WAY more interesting taking account at what happened to Talia in Arkham City, if Arkham Knight would have been Damien. I think they would have had to move the timeline bit further if that was the case, but it just would have given Arkham Knight a bit better motive to go for the guy who…
