this has been a meh season so far. the highlights have wound up being all the scenes of characters just insulting each other, which frankly could have been plucked from any other season.
Williamson’s last faux-Scream, Sick, was, uh, interesting to say the least.

Into the Spider-Verse is a masterpiece. Across the Spider-Verse (secretly Part 1 but we didn’t tell you) is 2/3 good and then a random final act that just abruptly ends with zero resolution. Like if Empire Strikes Back ended with Luke pulling out his lightsaber in the carbon chamber against Vader.
who said Stone did anything wrong. i just think there’s a certain (horribly dark) humour about the exact thing she satirized in The Curse actually coming true in real life. she should have taken the stage eating a turkey sandwich.
there can only be one truly great fur trapper musical, and that’s Trey Parker/Matt Stone’s Cannibal! the Musical
there’s a bitter irony after The Curse that Emma Stone wound up robbing an Indigenous woman of her big award opportunity.
