some individually funny moments (including the Wordle argument with Lewis) but my god building a whole episode out of hanging old man testicles is pretty lame. Larry should know better.

this is such a dumb article. Sanada is a genuinely talented dramatic actor with impressive fare like The Twilight Samurai (perhaps the last great Kurosawa’esque film) on his resume, and it doesn’t even bear mention because Barsanti’s vocabulary apparently ends at “cool” and “awesome”.

No boarding parties?!
Kotaku, a news and opinion site about games and things serious gamers care about.
Marcello Hernandez’s cameo
Lean into the whole multiversal angle and just make it a No Way Home style crossover between different beloved versions of Marvel heroes, from Reynolds Deadpool to cartoon Miles Morales to Eric Bana Hulk or whatever.
COMING SOON: Abbott and Costello versus the Godfather
tbh, i’d rather they go the Poochie route. Opening title scroll: “Kang died on the way back to his home planet. Doom rises.”
fuck that, bring in Galactus and have the movie open with him eating Xandar. That’ll establish him as a threat on par with Thanos.
proposed moratorium on any more articles covering pre-release twitter hype.

Freddy Got Fingered is only interesting as a $14 million prank that Tom Green managed to pull on Hollywood execs. You gotta admire that about it, though the experience of actually watching the thing is close to the nadir of human experience.
why are we covering this
dammit!
i keep waiting for them to do an Annihilation movie that launches in media res like the comic. like pretty much the first page is Star-Lord narrating mid-battle after the whole roster of Galactic Marvel has teamed up “off-screen”.
WandaVision was stellar, easily the most interesting thing the MCU has done. Shankman earns a lot of good faith from that.
No mention that Madame Web was voiced by Joan Lee, Stan’s wife?
yeah fuck that “Maker” bullshit. all that deadly dull and morose Ultimate stuff (including Secret Wars as far as I am concerned) should be jettisoned.
