I, for one, look forward to Disney/Marvel taking all the wrong lessons from this and cancelling all plans for representative/female-centric superhero stories. Because that’s bound to work! And not, like, just making a good movie that doesn’t end with fucking sky lasers for once.

the first one wasn’t that good, the last several MCU movies ranged from ok to awful, nobody cares about these characters (except <3 Kamala), they’ve done a terrible job of tying the “Phase 5" films together to convince us any given entry is essential, and Brie Larson doesn’t have the charisma of an RDJ or even a

tbh it’s just Whale Theory all over again. They (the big evil ones) know they can trick some people into spending outrageous sums on microtransactions, skins, Bejeweled coins or whatever, and those some people are paying enough that the publishers don’t care about alienating the rest of the audience.

is that Kate McKinnon crossing over from the Feig side-story? I’d be happy to see her join the “prime” Ghostbusters verse tbh.

The only entry on this list that’s truly, unfathomably bad is that Jessica Simpson “Boots”. I suffered through all ten minutes of it and I couldn’t get over how bad the arrangement and her vocals were. Dreadful.

why does the CGI look like something i could have rendered in Blender at home

i don’t know what this has to do with gaming but lol

the only entry on this list that actually improves on the original is Some Like It Hot, albeit by significantly departing from the original. The other entries are decentish English-language remakes of films which are still best-seen in their original versions.

why aren’t you writing about the new South Park. AVC used to be the best for reviews of SP.

those weird CGI Beatles are incredibly distracting, reminds me of one of those face-mash apps that my dad loves.

YOU’RE SIXTEEN YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU’RE MINE

SWERY also. I mentioned Deadly Premonition above but it feels like Remedy is trying to go SWERY on us but not totally succeeding.

(For instance, when Saga talks about “profiling” subjects, she’s just pulling correct answers straight out of the ether—no puzzle-solving required.) Is that sloppy writing?

isn’t that pewdiepie in the header image tho?
