The absence of Typing of the Dead is frankly astonishing.

I’ve always been grateful for the fact that both the Alien and Terminator series ended after their respective second entries. It’s nice that the studios concluded things on a high note.

I’ll see your OSN+ and raise you a Google China.

why the fuck does this shit get detailed episode recaps while the rest of A.V. Club’s TV coverage appears to have died?

only if they brought back Elias Koteas, the original Casey. I could actually see him handling it well; he’s in his early sixties now and would do a great job of handling the gritty, would-be retired vigilante role.

Sony Enlists Ant-Man & the Wasp Scribes

wtf is starz lol

You know, I don’t usually mind the A.V. Club snark, but there’s a nasty cavalier attitude threaded throughout this piece that’s just so inappropriate for the subject matter.

So after all that hype it’s.... a generic third-person shooter game? Even King Shark doesn’t get to melee?

Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.

Only You: Origins

The movie looked awful.

Judging from that headline I thought this was more like the Batgirl cancellation where they retracted the trailer and now Greta is wondering what was in it.

The main thing I remember about Hulk was how incredibly clumsy the finale felt. An hour and a half of meaningful character development and decent writing, thwarted by a silly over-the-top battle against Electric Nick Nolte.

Sometimes it’s fun to think about which PS2 debuts have had the biggest impact. So you focus on series that launched on PS2, and exclude any sequels (no Final Fantasy, no Metal Gear) except when the PS2 title marked a profound shift for the series.

... or you could take, like, five seconds to Google and realize that the number “47" has been a long-running in-joke on Trek ever since the TNG days and so writers work it in every opportunity they get. The fact that you wrote an entire article about this without bothering to even check is just pathetic.

This list is mostly fine, but the idea that Wakanda Forever is anything other than a bottom-tier MCU entry is laughable (and will make A.V. Club look really bad in a few years when people all look back on how awful it was).

err on the side of outrage

Odds they’re having to re-record all Rick audio now that Justin Roiland is, well, y’know.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige has a plan to combat superhero fatigue. Will it work?
