Even though, not 15 minutes earlier, Star-Lord had been willing to pull the trigger himself in order to protect Gamora from Thanos. Sure, he’s bound to be upset when he finds out she’s dead, but in a way it’s actually a kind of release for Gamora, since she preferred it to being Thanos’s pawn again.

I loved in Spider-Verse when one of the multiverse Spiders-Man mentions seeing a couple Peter Parkers who look, “just like that other guy from the Social Network, and also the Seabiscuit guy.” 

This movie was so fucking dumb. I felt like they were personally trying to insult Star Wars fans by undermining every single thing we loved about the original trilogy.
