Just came out in Canada. Pretty funny but can't hold a candle to the original. The villain - Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son! - is sufficiently evil, but the juvenile humour is even more juvenile, and there's less about the titular goon's "good heart", which is what made the original sweet.

It had some weird/empty areas (while it background-loaded), but beyond that the combat was fantastic and the story was quite good. I loved it.
