Anything with a manual transmission is better than anything with an automatic

It has been painful to watch Jimmie Johnson be the second coming of Zach Veach over the last year but kudos to him for a nice race.  Hopefully he has turned a corner in his IndyCar career

I remember seeing pictures and videos of the car for years and then one day about 5 years ago, I was driving next to the then Sears parking garage in Garden City NY where I have lived for most of my 57 years and there it was! Behind his building he described in the article in ‘Mineola’ (the area is probably zoned that

Rather than the solution provided in the post, I would suggest that you change the results of the race to reflect Herta, Rossi, Grosjean and Castoneves finshing 1-2-3-4.  Thanks!

In theory it should be a waffle, however its inability to retain heat for more than like thirty seconds gives it to the pancake.

YES!!!! I agree....totally bonkers movie.  Would love to see it again as I haven’t seen it in years

I remember that commercial as a teen and while my dad had flirted with getting a Subaru from time to time, my previous tepid response was suddenly “Dad...let’s go to the Subaru dealer now!!!!” just for that stupid (but yes, glorious) third light

- The impending death of the manual transmission

It’s down to this?

Soooo....this isn’t a quick photoshop project and it’s real photos?  Seems that Honda has taken the marketers approach of engineering in telling us it’s something...when it really isn’t (I’m looking at you Mustang Mach E, Corvette and any car with four doors that claims its a ‘coupe’)

Whhaaaa?! I clearly remember the single headlight coffin nosed Matadors but this thing?! I agree that since it came from a dealer, it may have been either a styling study or maybe even a pre-production prototype if the Matador continued in 1979.

Groundbreaking in 1983...no, but still a unique situation for the time for the man to be the stay at home parent and woman be the sole earner.  I agree it would not be made today because it is of it’s time.  It’s not a unique situation today

Umm....with Tootsie, Dustin Hoffman’s character did NOTfeel the opportunities for women are so much greater than those for men that he has no choice but to secretly dress in drag to audition for a soap opera part’...his agent made it clear to him and the audience that he had a horrible reputation in being a very

I’ll never forget as a teen seeing the photo of the jet on fire pointing towards the ground in the newspaper the next day....haunting

For Indycar as long as the only double point race in the Indy 500, then it makes perfect sense both on the length and gravitas of the race (the damn series is named after it for crying out loud).  I know that in recent years a few times they also made the last race of the season a double point race but that feels like

American currently does not serve alcohol in coach however it appears that this ‘gentleman’ may have been in first class. But I do think that since this is not a long flight, he had to have had a pretty big head start at the terminal.

I had a fantastic dealership experience back in 1999 at a Rhode Island VW dealer. Mind you , I have never lived in Rhode Island as I have lived in NY my entire 56 years (on Long Island specifically). Anyway back in early 1999, the least of my mk III 1995 GTI VR6 was coming up in a few months and VW had just announced

The Z has a manual available....no comparison

The reason why I never got into Indycar other than the Indy 500 is because of all the ovals. However, now that I have been a huge fan for the entire series for the last ten years, I find the ovals to be the most fun races to watch and I do miss Iowa this year.

As an early teen for some reason or other, I was pushing my dad to get a Fairmont Futura but with the Turbo engine. I actually believe it was due both to the Batman connection to the name and the crazy exotic turbo that only a few Porsche’s and Saab’s had.
