Well congrats Josh Wardle, you have achieved your goal of not-making any money off of it.

Hot take: lying to prevent spoilers is bad, and spoiler culture is dumb.
True. It’s not uncommon for a 65-year-old to have a classic “Widowmaker” heart attack or a massive stroke and just drop dead.
It’s way too early for a coroner’s report. Investigators would have no idea of a cause of death at this point unless there was obvious evidence of suicide, drug use, or some other external factor. Reportedly, there were no drugs and no signs of foul play, so at this point it’s inconclusive.
I hate to say it, that was my first thought too. But...comedians are on the road a lot lot. It would make sense that a comedian would die in a hotel room since they’re in one probably 2/3's of the year.
I hope he didn’t compound his misery by watching it too.

Shit’s weird, man. I have a lot more to say but I shouldn’t.
Yeah, if I could get my pop culture fix somewhere else I would be out of here in a heartbeat. The way they’re treating the last few remaining writers who made the AV Club what it once was is appalling. The site is already a shell of its former self, and after this I can’t see how it can become anything but a rotting…
So, uh, anyone found a satisfying AV Club replacement? Kinda seems like any remnants of what I liked about this site are about to go away.
So they’ve finally decided to slit the AVClub’s throat and let it bleed out.
@AA Dowd - if you and a bunch of current/former AVClub writers end up spinning off to your own new website, I would happily follow.
“Oh, and remember: next Friday is Hawaiian Shirt Day!”
After this episode I have a feeling Fett’s ultimate goal is to help the Tuskens take back their place as accepted inhabitants of the planet instead of just faceless, mindless raiders the people who came from off-world need to be afraid of.
Bullshit. I won’t keep this in the front of my mind, but I know that if I ever move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I’ll remember this story when I see that dealer’s name, and shop there first when it’s time for a new car.
Regardless of their motivations, it’s nice to see they did the kid a solid.
Yeah, give the PR guy a raise. This was probably cheaper than buying a TV ad and I’m sure will sway a lot more buyers to shop at their dealership instead.
I’m sure the PR value they’ll get from this is far above what the car cost them.
Let’s not kid ourselves that this isn’t (at least in large part) an opportunity for good PR for Frank Kent MC.
Still, motives aside, good on them for stepping in to help out.
