Remember the Night is great, and maybe actually benefits from a code-enforced ending that you wouldn’t expect in any other era (maybe benefits cause it depends on how much you want a straight happy or a melancholy ending to your holiday fare). I can’t stand The Man Who Came to Dinner though. Woolley’s the worst human

Remember the Night is a favorite Christmas movie in our house. It’s a tighter story than Christmas in Connecticut (although we love that too), mostly because it’s not a screwball comedy. But it’s still funny, and Stanwyck and MacMurray are great together.

Thanks, Caroline, for a great piece on a wonderful, now somewhat forgotten film. I watch it every Christmas and it is a real gem on multiple levels and beautifully made. It’s worth mentioning how Warner Brothers went against the Hollywood tide of black stereotypes with both this movie and “Casablanca” and while

My home gym.
A Fitbit Versa 2 to track my regular movement (Its on sale for Black Friday dont know its cost).
A Schwinn IC3 as I live in Toronto and I cant walk as much any more due to Canadian winter (about $499.99 USD).
An adjustable bench I got off Amazon for $140.00 USD (roughly)
A pair of 20 lb dumbbells, 35 lb

The name Peloton. Peloton has taken the tried and true practice of dropping a shit ton of money on marketing and hiring a bunch of pretty people to make it seem like their bikes are superior. They’re not they’re just marketed better. I have a $600.00 Schwinn SC3 bike (its not a “Smart Bike”) and its more than good

Aww man, just as the series was getting really good. I mean last season it was my favorite of the Arrowverse shows post-crisis during the weeks it was on. Batwoman’s novelty started to wear because of the boring Alice storyline, Arrow ended (I still want that Green Arrow and the Canaries spin-off!!!), The Flash

This is sort of bewildering. I don’t know what the back office business reasons would be for canning this show, but creatively Black Lightning added a lot to the DC/CW lineup beyond the obvious diversity and representation values. I enjoyed it, and it was a refreshing change of pace for the network. Even though it was

Crap. This really sucks because the show is still damn good. Even if last seasons plot was almost as dumb as the Arrow’s “everyone is crooked” Dragon season.

The finally incorporated Black Lightning into the Beeboverse just to cancel it?

I am not a fan of Titans at all despite repeated attempts to get into it...but they somehow got Donna perfectly right.

Interesting...I look forward to checking it out.

I do have to say, though, that I’m a little bummed it’s not Conor Leslie’s Donna Troy from Titans. She’s fucking great, and deserves better than what Titans has given her to work with.

I’ve seen a lot of hunters who pretend to be ethical hunters, but I’ve never actually seen someone who is the latter and just livin off thar vittles.

Very good doc. You could argue that New Hope editor is Marcia Lucas should be equally celebrated alongside exit husband George Lucas.

I thought she was great.

I’m beating a dead horse at this point, but what a shame that everything on this show is so bleak and depressing. They travel 930 years in the future, and guess what, everyone is mean and selfish.

Years ago when I had manual-lock vehicles, whenever I went mountain biking I would take just the trunk key off the ring and lock the ring in the trunk.

There’s still the occasional reason to not bring a phone/keys places (the beach, hiking, any rec league sport or group fitness thing)

I have 3 Fords and a Lincoln, and have owned several more previously - probably just because of this feature. Absolutely the best feature, and most used feature, ever in the history of my car ownership. Can’t live without it once you have it.  *pro tip* can’t get locked out of your house if you have this and your

Not if you want to lock both your keys and your phone in the car.  Presumably to go skinny dipping.
