I have pretty significant problems with today’s Life in Aggro.
I do most of the time, but this morning unbearably so.
20. !@#$%^&* (New)
I’ve banned a lot of people in my 10+ years working video game support, so I’ll submit two stories, both from the same company:
The Doc pretty obviously is talking about any scenario relating to this dude and Zed, not “but what if we’re homeless and if we keep the dog we can’t get housing” or “the dog is threatening my baby, what do”.
I also disagreed with Dr. NL on this one. At 15 I left my (emotionally/physically/sexually) abusive home - which meant leaving my cat (which I had since I was like 6) - did it suck? Yes. Did I miss her? Yes. But was it worth it to leave HELL YES.
Yeah, I thought this was loco bananas advice. You go where the job that feeds and houses you is. Hopefully you can leave the pet with friends who will love and care for it, but at the end of the day, homeless, jobless, and penniless is not going to do you or your pet any good.

Part of the problem is that you’re treating her affection like it’s a measure of your value as a person. But women ain’t Mjölnir, my dude. They don’t have “whomsoever should part these legs, if they be worthy, shall have the power of Score” embroidered on their underwear. Whether they fall for someone or not…
You know, when people talk about Marvel Easter Eggs, that’s not what I had in mind...
Ah yes, the Infinity Eggs, Thanos and the Easter Bunny, making shit happen.
I liked what they were originally going to go with:
Hey, one joke per post. The fuck. Some of us are trying to eat.
“Starbucks appears to be striving for a lukewarm medium”
On Saturday morning, 11 members of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA, were murdered in a mass shooting…
Life in Aggro was pretty cute today. It’s so weird getting legible and understandable comics from that series multiple weeks in a row.
Kirk, this is easily the best game review I’ve ever read, but also the best writing of any kind that I’ve read on this website. I enjoyed your creative narrative prose over the the technical trappings of FPS and other “data.”
From tip to tail, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a profound, glorious downer. It is the rare blockbuster video game that…
If you want my $0.02... Wait for reviews, and buy the game if you think you want to play it. I will certainly be playing the hell out of it. I suspect that it’ll be incredible.
