There’s a Second Life 2? Why not just call it Third Life?!!
tbh if I was even casual acquaintances w/ Kojima I’d be bragging about it nonstop too, and I haven’t even played any of his games
The Xbox Series S appears to be far easier to find. I saw a couple just sitting on a shelf at Walmart. I’d recommend it, it’s my first Xbox console ever and I likely wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a game running on it vs. the Series X, especially with my TV.
This sounds fantastic and also absolutely NOT what I need to see right now. Trying to stay sane!
I just think the philosophy of the queen is super interesting, at least on the surface. “Yes, there’s an awful caste system, but at least it’s nondiscriminate.” But then as you explore each of the worlds you find that, no, actually existing on any level of this system sucks, even if it’s different flavors and levels…
I never did write about how her boyfriend should stop playing Fortnite, but I suppose I’m doing so now, in a way. But idk, let the guy play his game if he’s not neglecting other responsibilities or people. If he is (and let’s face it, he probably is), then sure, maybe cut back a bit. My roommate blew off a date I set…
When I told my classmates I wrote about video games on my first day of journalism school, the first thing I heard someone say was, “Can you write about how my boyfriend should stop playing Fortnite?” So there’s that.

The hero the wild west deserves
Is there a dock for this thing? I assumed that it was handheld only, and if you wanted to play the games on it at home with better performance, there would be cross-save so you can play it on your PC at home.
It needs the little penguin nook or it’s a no-go
Wait, do you mean beep-boop-boop-bap or bap-boop-boop-beep??
I remember that too when I traveled to the U.K. back in high school! I’ll miss Kotaku UK, I remember Laura Kate Dale in particular breaking a lot of news about the Switch up to its release. I hope all the writers land on their feet, now is such a difficult time to be a journalist (among myriad other professions, to be…
“rarely does the same thing twice in a row”
I always knew Cecilia was a badass journalist, but now I know she was a badass teenager too!
...
That makes two of us.
Fun fact: the AP style book specifically allows the use of “:(“ only when referring to the departure of a beloved president of Nintendo of America.
A bit ironic for a company named “Riot” to have a peaceful protest, no?
