I wouldn’t be surprised I found household objects inspired a bunch of the spaceships in Star Wars/ Trek, etc. Inspiration can come from anywhere!

My favorite was Breath of the Wild, by a long shot. It was good enough reason to keep me up until 5am.
Oh boy. Let’s see all that I watched:
“watch football or something”
I’d hang that up in my room.
I’m pretty sure my oldest stepsister is a fan of this or the other guy. Maybe both. I feel like my parents when they look at the video games I play. Total, utter confusion. And sometimes judgement.
Wait, but how many games did you finish this year?
As expected, you wrote good words. I love looking back at some older games (and sometimes not even games!) from today’s perspective, instead of the constant observations of the hottest new AAA title. Keep on writing and playing video games, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that the long-jump method works on the lower level, or otherwise Bill won’t run into the bricks. That might have been implicit, but just to be safe.
Do you think stressful parts of video games are good or bad? I think it depends on what the game’s going for, and of course your mood for the day. Sometimes you’re better equipped to deal with it than other days.
Oh and one more thing! Thanks so much for reminding me of that awesome part of The Last of Us! I still have yet to finish that game, and now it’s on my mind!
Out of the examples from this list (and many more), I infinitely prefer the method of taking stuff away from the player towards the middle or end of the game, but I can’t deny that I like the method of starting with nothing and slowly becoming a god. Breath of the Wild kinda had both, now that I think of it.
There were a million tiny moments in Breath of the Wild, but I loved going into a new shrine, especially in the end of the game when I was still trying to find the last few. There was that one crazy lady who was in love with the shrine ball thing (what the heck was this thing called again?) and would only give it to…
I’m not gonna lie, anything that Rebecca Sugar touches immediately does grab my attention...
I will say that I found Tora particularly “meh-meh.”
Yep! Pretty chill holidays, all things considered.
I spent an embarrassing amount of time on writing a comment, and it was all deleted because of technical issues, so I’ll just list ‘em: Champions from BotW, Aloy and many others in H:ZD, Rex and co. in XC2.
I still have yet to watch Adventure Time or OK KO, but this show actually sounds interesting now. I adore cartoons, even though I don’t watch them as much as I’d like, and one of these would be great for filling the gap between Steven Universe episodes. (Jan. 5 HYPE!)
My boy Tim Rogers is fighting the good fight. =P
Wait, hold up. So you’re telling me that there’s a “Trails” series that has every title end with “of [something]”, and the same for “Tales”?! If so, WHO THE HECK THIUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?!
