Sounds like Microsoft testing new grounds for the next gen release. Why announce a $400 initial price when you can say $30 a month for two years? I mean that’s cheaper then internet these days.
But this is not a lease. It is a just financing the console and services directly by them or by a 3rd party company helping with the process.

On the Autobahn, people actually do that as a form of suicide. They call them Geisterfahrer or “Ghost Drivers,” who intentionally go max speed in the wrong direction to end it for themselves (and random innocent bystanders).
