That’s the High end version. His has storage racks at the back piled with common 70's-80's Chevy and GMC Parts that he pulled from a long list of cars and trucks people gave or sold him for cheap. The Front consists of a car under as much lighter weight stuff that he can pile on it. Cars are of course filled with more

Solid point. I would want to go to the carfax to be sure this isn’t some grandson freebie hand-me-down onto which he slapped his old Accord wheels and is trying to flip for a big profit.

140k is “high miles”? 140k isn’t much at all, especially for something 32 years old.

Where and how is his health?

I know a Hoarder who has one of these buried in a 5 stall Garage condo buried until a pile of crap. His kids will have it crushed when he dies in his squalor filled house.

there just isn’t an enthusiast market for first gen Legends

Now that’s just crazy talk, if you’re going to spread the plague the key thing is to make sure all the vermin are properly infected. That’s why I breed my plague rats in an underground lair and not a 96 Kia Forte

I grew up next to an old gay millionare that hoarded chickens.

Except...

I’m smirking a bit at all the comments chastising you for the state of your property.

Think about all the things you are doing with this project:

I’m not experiencing any bugs (and I ALWAYS do when it has bugs)

Yeah, in the $4k to $5k range I’d be all over this.

Not only that, but I have to scroll all the way down, click “Show comments,” then scroll all the way down again because it loads the page from the top. I mean, how do you take something that was working just fine and fuck it up this bad? Just leave it alone.

I owned a 5-speed NA 240 wagon once upon a time. While cool in concept, it was a horribly underwhelming experience. I think many who lust after these things have never driven one. These do not bring lust, or hate, or appreciation, or any emotion.

Untill he comes home one day and she says she sold it for 1,500.

Classic Manual Wagon in great shape: HELL YES!!

I saw an almost identical e38 on craigslist. It was black over tan, 100k miles. He wanted $4100 and I was really tempted.

850, yes. 840, notsomuch. I’ve had a ‘94 for 15 years. It’s actually one of the more reliable cars I’ve had. It’s no Toyota but has never had to be towed in 100k miles. Find the right mechanic and parts supplier and like JoeFromPA said, be prepared for that $2-$3 k bill every three or four years.

Going NP, even though it’s an absolute liability. Such a gorgeous car. Even if I could only look at it it might be worth $4k. I certainly don’t have the bank account to support this car in the way it needs, but I sure hope someone does. One day all the big gorgeous sedans will be gone and CUVpocalypse will be
