Oof. He should get in line at bankruptcy hearings to help force Karma closed. Too many stiffed vendors and the courts may just force them out.

I’ve come to find out that having a shitbox car is a luxury only for the middle class. I’m middle class and daily drive an BMW e46. If I break down, my workplace is understanding. I can say “having car trouble..” and its all good. I have time and money to fix it myself, or I can take it to a shop.
Fix the truck. That's the moneymaker for a carpenter and parts will be easier to source than the Corvair. Then fix the Corvair once more money's available.
He should sell 2 or 3 of the cars he’s not using and expand his budget to fix the other(s). I don’t really understand the purpose of clinging to the other non-functioning vehicles if none of them work and he doesn’t have $ to fix them
I agree with you, for 500-1000 you can find a shitbox that will run for years still, however i think he needs to leave his comfort zone, and he needs to look into the least shitty corolla/camry/civic/accord/ Ls400 he can get his hands on
Perfect take. It’s not an Allante, much less a 560SL, but it’s a competent little car that will get you there in style and keep doing so for years to come. $2500 is not just NP for one in this condition, but bordering on highway robbery.
Yes, although no federalization. Imported under the 25 year rule, so none needed. I got used to a speedo in km/h pretty quickly.
That transmission was cranked out in about the last 45 minutes they were even building them. That specific model was discontinued in the next model year, after having been installed for about five or six years. By the time this one was made, its little hassles had been pretty much sorted. Bolted behind the stout but…
Bronies?
GOOD. These assholes are down the street from me, when they were “testing” cars they drove like assholes and would be dicks to anyone glancing at their cars. Running red lights, speeding on residential streets, using turn lanes to go strait, all while in a “pre-production” car clad in camo. I can’t wait for Chapter…
Evos, Evos, Evos, Evos...It’s like Mitsubishi only made that one good car. When I went to Mitsubishi Owner Day on 2018, it was an ocean of fucking evos. 95% of the cars that attended there were evos. May I remind you this car is the real duty to take care of? One of 1,200 made. Twin Turbo, 6MT, 320HP, and Hard top…
I’m directly familiar with Dodge Colt Vistas, which were made by Mitsubishi. The Vista was a smaller van, sat seven people and had an eager engine with the same balance shaft technology they licensed to Porsche (944). I’d say it had terrific utility though fell down on durability.
nonsense. The Pajero is a legend and the Pajero Evolution is an absolute WANT machine. They also made a handful of underappreciated but still cool cars like the Starion, FTO, and imo the most underrated awesome car of the whole decade.... the Legnum VR4. The 3000GT may have lagged behind some of the all time great…
Meh. The only relevant Mitsubishis were the Monteros.
Excursions are actually, super easy to drive and park because they were MADE to be big, instead of a smaller car/truck that was aftermarket modded to be big.
I miss parking my Suzuki Samurai. I used to parallel park just by driving forward into a spot and calling it good
FWIW, 2 mpg, when you’re talking about the bump between 10 and 12 mpg, is a 20% bump in fuel mileage. And 20% fuel savings.
