A necessary distinction for comparison to all the “web apps”. However, it’s really blurring the lines when a desktop app is really just a shell of windowing around an app that is made up of web components and technologies (like Electron).

Neat! I was hoping it would allow watching Netflix at work, but Netflix apparently doesn’t allow it with their proxy detection. Does anybody know if they have a massive blacklist or are they looking at the packets?
