It could use a song.

Also, Best Bond.

Buzzwords!: The Comic Strip

I thought this was gonna be about the cartoon series, and I was very disappointed.

The commentaries point out that it was intended to be even more of a running gag, but the lines kept getting cut.

I DETESTED the Michael Scott Paper Company storyline the first time I watched it, but I agree. On rewatches it’s one of the best storylines the show ever did. Plus, Pam really shines in it, and she’s so good without Jim.

It’s no Godspell, but yeah.

Oh that was absolutely improvised, and it was delightful.

They’re easily the most infuriating part of it. A bunch of shitty old white people setting themselves up as simultaneous heroes of some bullshit “culture” they supposedly have, and as victims. I particularly enjoyed a sequence of the townspeople describing how they began forming armed groups, shooting at helicopters

That’s no moon. It’s a space station!

It had done that by season 1.

Is there one to Black Betty? Because it’s begging for it.

Kilgore Was Here

Truly relatable content.

I was a big fan of the John Lennon “Imagine” shirt.

It has a very nice ending, but I’m not sure much of the setup works too well anymore.

I agree with you on the Ghost Realtor stuff. I thought it was so telling that she referred to her previous partner as “the big, obese man” that worked with her on the show.

Yeah a woman who got away, then claims she doesn’t know him, mixed with mentions of someone killing someone and a potential stalker situation definitely seem like the kind of story that keeps growing until it needs a 2 hour episode like Nathan talked about on Comedy Bang! Bang!

I was pretty touched by the Holocaust Center segment too. The Founding President was so clearly grateful, and seemed like such a lovely guy.

Am I the only one who really wants to watch FWWM in black and white now?
