It would have made a good cover for why he first said he saw him. He could have said something like "Yeah, I do remember him, he used to come in here some nights a few weeks back, I was just mistaken about him being here last night, now that I've had time to think about it."

He was also listening intently to the conversation between Jimmy and the doctor. I found it curious that the camera focused so intently on Ernesto listening in with such a seeming sense of urgency. Not to mention they chose that scene for the previee to vegin with. And the resemblance to Gus Fring was so remarkable, I

I can't believe you watched the preview and that's all you took from the hospital scene. I've been busting at the gills to keep from talking about it.

I'm going to make a prediction. The finale's cold open will show Mike and Gus discussing Hector. But, it will be a flashback/forward to the Breaking Bad days. Or, maybe it will have something to do with Rebecca.

I don't think the commercial is so much ABOUT Sandpiper as it is AIMED at Sandpiper patients. The key thing to look at here is ad placement. If I remember right, the ad is to be aired during some kind of murder nystery whodunnit series, possibly much like Murder She Wrote, when Jimmy aired his first Sandpiper ad. I'm

It is, but I still want at least two full years of full blown, hard core Saul Goodman. Three would be even better.

As good as these writers are, I think they either didn't consider this possibility, or decided to ignore it. A true con artist like Jimmy, though, would certainly be cognizant of this potential, making it unlikely anybody would actually do this, in this kind of situation.

Hector ends up incapacitated, because of Mike's actions. So does Chuck, due to Jimmy's. And both victims have only themselves to blame for worsening their already ill health.

Thanks for reminding me of the showrunner's name, I'd already forgotten it. I wasn't necessarily meaning him or Gilligan by "suits". But network honchos do have influence and they have a nasty habit of insinuating themselves in the last place they belong-the creative process-and they usually fuck things royally when

From Gilligan himself, and more recently from the showrunner. They admitted they originally wanted to introduce "Saul" by the end of the last season, but Bob Odenkirk was so endearing and pitch perfect as Jimmy McGill, they decided to stretch it out longer. So yes, it is being dragged out.

The showrunner said something about Chuck's condition "changing", I think was the term, which could mean a lot of different things.

Remember, everybody, that on Breaking Bad, every time Gus was in a meeting with the cartel, or any situation that might turn problematic, Mike was there for security.

I looked it up on YouTube, and it seems I was mistaken about a flag being in that commercial. Oh well.

The showrunner wants to drag Jimmy McGill out as long as possible, and is even floating the idea of, as the series "surprise", Jimmy stays Jimmy, never becomes Saul. Bad idea in my opinion, stupid even. Jimmy should become Saul soon as possible. In order for the series to make sense, we need at least two full seasons

Wrong. According to the series showrunner, who also wrote this episode, Michael McKean did the stunt for that particular scene, and it really was Chuck falling and hitting the side of his head. A wire kept him from really hitting, but in the show itcwas definitely real.

I never could figure out why so many people are so dead set against watching previews, but I think I just figured it out about halfway through the preview for "Klick".

It would still either have security guards or under camera surveillance.

Are we seeing the first stage of the production of the infamous Better Call Saul commercial? I hope so. I especially can't wait to see that cute little blonde who plays the sexy dumb cop.

Yeah, maybe. I've been wondering myself if HHM is Gus's law firm for Los Polos Hermanos.

Spooge and the Skank, maybe? And that poor little boy?
