@avclub-237168031d88451c78fd8d6d6378c0b2:disqus that's an excellent point, I never thought of that. But, you forgot, Sil wasn't actually killed, he was just in a coma.

Trivial items the mob made money from? How about pool toys?

Actually you can make a shitload of money off a truckload of cigarettes.

Not to mention superfluous unnecessary shit, like the cyclist near the end of The Blue Comet getting run over by the speeding car.

The Virgin Mary scene was terrific. I actually never noticed until somebody else pointed it out that we the viewer see her before Paulie does, which implies the vision was real. I don't know, I thought it was overall a good episode, but to me there are no bad Sopranos episodes, just some not quite so good as others.

I don't mean to keep beating this dead horse, but I honestly think the people who are convinced Tony is a sociopath have missed the entire point of the episodes Join The Club and Mayham. So I'll break it down as best I can.

He thought he was Tony, didn't he?

It would have to be up there with the way Tony went to pieces at the pool after AJ's suicide attempt, with the constant "it's all right baby, it'll be all right baby", etc. Nobody could make Tony show his human side, be it for good or for bad, like AJ.
