Quite right - the Clone Wars television series is proof positive of exactly what you said. George communicated his vision and ideas to Dave Filoni, then Filoni and his team executed those ideas and brought that vision to life.

Only hipster "fans" like to hate on the prequels because they think it makes them look cool. They have their problems, but the prequels have plenty to love as well. Good Star Wars fans like this one know that.

That would almost be the most idiotic comment here if the author hadn't beaten you to it with his poor excuse for a review.
