I had to give up a pet for an opportunity. It was so hard, but it needed to be done. NZ would be an amazing adventure though. Maybe see if there are any Parrot/Conure owners groups in your area. You would have a good chance of finding someone that would know what care and attention they need. Good luck to you.

Shaun of the Dead. Not scary, but lots of fun

I’m assembling a pile of favorite movies to watch in the hopes that I don’t obssesively watch news all day, and getting plenty of exercise. Their will also be either prayer and fasting OR stress eating and cursing. The jury is still out on that.

Magical!

Cherry- walnut no knead loaf. In a few days I’m going to try some salami, mozzerella. sun dried tomato rolls.

I’d ask for a profiterol(or 12)

Good things have happened this week. I went to a virtual Halloween wedding(Hooray for love!), I finally made a good yeasted loaf of bread(Thanks, Paul Hollywood!), and I decided to start taking something for my depression(Here we go again, wheee).

I once saw a square shaped mist about the size of a tea towel hovering in my hallway. I calmly said: “Your time here is done, go to the light”. That was the end of that. I also worked in a bookstore that was said to be haunted. That was just a plain pain in the arse.

When I was in High School, I wasn’t getting the grades my Dad knew I was capable of. He told me he would give me $20 for every A on my report card(that was good money in 1983). I got nearly straight A’s after that.

I had the funny thought the other day that if the government started a sort of “lottery” program that had roving teams of people randomly handing out cash or scratch off tickets to  people wearing face coverings, we would suddenly have a lot more mask wearers.

Sometimes I feel like a significant portion of the American people have Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Wearing masks is common sense and effective, but the second that people think they are being forced they will dig in their heels. If it had been framed as heroic and patriotic at the start( like during WWII and

Based on how much I loved In the Woods, I pick up every new Tana French book and then put it back down in frustration. I think I have only finished one other book of hers.

At my last place of work, I never once used the bathroom. Also, The breakroom and employee lockers were up a flight of stairs. Sidenote: Even making a space safer for some, can make it less safe for others. The raised bumps that assist those with visual impairment are a fall hazard for those with Cerebral Palsy,

lol, I just meant the lowest priced ones, not the “I could buy a house with this money” ones

I live in a very expensive city and that kind of money would cover 15 months of rent. If you are paying that for a BAG, you are a chump and they saw you coming. ( IMO)

I guess “ButHerEmails!” was already taken.

I actually did a LOTR tour in NZ. I’m not gonna lie, it was a lifetime high light. The people are just as wonderful as the scenery.

In my grocery order I had requested a 12oz can of milk powder. They delivered a 3.5 lb (!) can. Now I’m trying to find ways to use it up. Maybe I’ll make some ricotta or cottage cheese.

My one regret about getting sober at 19 was that I wasted my time drinking shitty beer and cheap wine. There was a whole world of interesting drinks that I didn’t even know about and will never get to try.

Or a movie about Theodora
