My wife has a continuous kombucha brew going. She started out purchasing a SCOBY, but found it easier to make her own. We keep the 2nd fermentation in one of those little safes that you’re supposed to use for disaster recovery. We use it for disaster prevention, but thankfully none have exploded yet.

You’re right... let’s let ‘em have it! I’m starting with all the dudes around here who talk with their mouths full of food or bad ideas.

SHIFT+DEL on Windows

Like the “Early Grabber” who closes too early and ends up grabbing just my fingers, and I’m there thinking, “is this dude going to kiss my hand?!?!”

We’re all guilty of telling a white lie

So, should I stop putting my hand under someone’s thigh when making a deal also?

The food structure: Man, could you imagine actually having to architect that all out?! I think we’d have to have major use of interfaces and dependency injection just so we’re not loading waaay more than we need to at runtime; otherwise, we’ll end up overeating!

Speaking of eating at work... If someone is eating at their desk and making loud chewing, crunching, smacking noises and not talking UNLESS there is a large gob of food in their gob, can I slap them without getting HR involved?

I casted Amazon Prime to Chromecasst just fine by disabling Silverlight in Chrome. That was before I got a Blue Ray player that had Amazon built in, so I don’t know if the trick still works

They should have gotten on the ball with this MONTHS ago. The Windows store is still pretty woeful.

I once stayed at the home (mansion) of a ridiculously wealthy hotel tycoon in Shreveport, LA. He had gone to have steak the night before, which, while he didn’t say where it was from, I’m sure was on the higher end of things. So, the next morning, when I’m called down for breakfast, and we’re sitting at the breakfast

LOL, yeah. I would have hope that it went with0ut saying that the idea was to keep as much cheese and as little oil as possible. :-)

If you are interested in removing the most amount of oil from the pizza, should you blot the entire thing as soon as you receive it before it cools a degree or two?

does this tell us more about the diamond or the person?

I wrote my next section first, but came back to write this because it seems like an argument, and it’s not, I completely agree with you. And now back to our regularly scheduled reply...

LadyErrant! You are certainly more brilliant than I am on a Wednesday morning (or perhaps any day)!! Not only that, but sometimes it tears off in pieces, because it’s glued on and you have to keep picking at it to get it all off.

Yeah, my first thought too. That and The Onion piece about fast food Feed Bags. The USA is at a 69% overweight/obesity rate (CDC). Let’s go for 90%!!!!

(typo in link: How* fat comes off)
ok, what this doesn’t explain is why that LAST LITTLE BIT of fat seems to take the longest amount of time to shed. I’ve heard all kinds of things from the body wanting to preserve some body fat because it thinks you’re starving (starvation mode) to... wait, maybe that’s all I’ve heard.

Android: I used to have a job in Tasker that disabled Mobile Data when I was at home. Then Android stopped allowing that. My phone (S5) also has such a feature to “smart switch.” Maybe it’s finally time to root just so that I can get Tasker to run all these tasks that it used to be able to run before features started

ooooer! I love black foods. Got some squid ink linguine a while back. I’m dying to try silkie chicken!
