I read this whole thread and didn’t get that... You’d think I’d have figured this out by at LEAST your reply to the reply before it become a reply to a replied reply... I blame the blood moon... and Bill Gates.

I don’t get it... so, was it meant for me?
I’m not lifehacker :) but I think they’re really apples an oranges. Except, even some “plank” exercises include crunch-type exercises. At its core (ha!) though a plank is an isometric exercise whereas a crunch isn’t. It’s a lot more complicated than that. Just skimming the surface here.
LOL well there you go. Although, I don’t believe his anecdotes for a second:
I enjoy reading your articles, Claire, but now you’re just trying to kill me...
On the one hand, I’m me, with my own idiosyncrasies, lifestyle, genetics, metabolism, dietary habits, training, and so on. On the other is Jane Doe, who has her own set of aforementioned qualities and circumstances that are probably all different from my own.
Doesn’t Dropbox attempt to do this when sharing between devices on the same local network? I’ve never gone so far as to see if it’s actually doing it, but I thought this was one of its features.
Well, I will say this about a tux. If you go just about anywhere and do just about anything, you’re considerably less likely to have your motives and actions questioned. :-D
Yes, women have it worse. I performed as an opera singer (where costumes are provided for us) but as a concert soloist, my soprano and mezzo-soprano colleagues most certainly had us guys beat on money spent for gowns and shoes (because, we never spent money on gowns, you see... well, most of us didn’t anyway...)
In response to “I don’t know why anybody would buy a tux.” Classical musicians have to wear formal wear nearly every time we perform.
OF course every one has their own tastes, but my favorite “snacking apple” is the Empire apple. Full of yum!
I have Ghostery and AdBlockPlus. I don’t see ads :) I only mentioned it to point out how these Yoga instructors get some revenue for sharing their knowledge.
Ha, Melanie, for a moment there, I thought there was some new product called “Gmail Now”
Yes, there are some high quality yoga teachers who freely (with ads) publish their lessons on YouTube, so it’s a great place to start. Admittedly, I’ve never taken a yoga class with an instructor. That would be the most beneficial, because they can help position you to where you need to be, which is something that you…
That is outstanding! Have you ever seen a Chinese Acrobats show (well, any acrobatics... why discriminate?) Superhuman!
Any social network is only as good as the people that you allow into it :)
I love your positivity, Kristin!!!! Nearly every LH suggestion gets met with some form of “why would I/anyone do/want this!?” I think people sometimes forget that most of the people on the planet aren’t them and might actually find use or even joy in the things they don’t.
Yoga X is pretty intense. It always bugged me that it was the ONLY workout that didn’t have a “cues only” audio track, so I ripped the DVD, downloaded my own Yoga music, fired it up in Premiere Pro and carefully edited out all of Tony’s jibba jabba except for the cues. It made for a MUCH better yoga experience where I…
