I think you need to view the episodes you mentioned again. Louise gets a rush from danger. In the Christmas episode with the psychotic truck driver when the car was spinning out of control the family was screaming, Louise was cheering.

I thought it was very witty and it made me laugh thinking that everyone at Apple probably watched it in a big conference room.
Even the clever Mom apple logo was great.
