I think this stuff with the Abies is really clever actually. With the whole thing of having a leader, and then burning the crops and retreating as a strategic maneuver. But, once again, I think the main issues that this season contains are repition and a lack of really strong characters. Perhaps this show was better

I'd be be very curious to know WHY there are characters that come back from S1, only to get killed off within minutes. I've been quite vocal in the other boards of the S2 episodes in regards to my disappointment with this season, and I'll maintain these sentiments.

Really disappointed with this season. You bring back S1 characters just to kill them off within 35 minutes. Ok, sure! They're being used as drivers of the new story. But, these were characters that made S1 so awesome. To have them used as pawns for S2's plot is just dumb.

I read through all of the comments, which has prompted me to elaborate on some of the topics discussed. First off, the whole idea of this show and gender is too minimizing in my opinion. In fact, it missed the point completely. Ellen left her career has a lawyer because she turned into Patty - the absolute antithesis

Wow. I can't believe that I've finished this amazing series. Will go down as one of my absolute favorites.

What an incredible episode! Man, I'm really going to miss Damages. It's been such an amazing series. This was a masterful way of lining up all the pieces for the finale. There is definitely a lot to cover in the finale, and I'm sure all of it was addressed. Besides Ellen/Patty, I'd think that we learn about

Excellent episode. Truly heartbreaking. Like I mentioned in an earlier posting from this season, Ellen will look back and realize that she's become Patty. She has done things the way she didn't want to do them. This "win at all cost" mentality has huge repercussions.

The only ending I see for this show is one that isn't a victory for either side. I expect both sides to have lost. Even Ellen. She can look back at the start of her law career and realize that she's basically become Patty - something she yearned not to do. Unfortunately, that's just what it is. They're too alike. I

Hello, people from the past! Clearly, I'm partial to Damages, because I seem to love just about every episode. I actually really enjoyed the dream sequences with Patty and Ellen. They are another way of reinforcing the Patty/Ellen core of the show, but in a subconscious way. It's pretty cool.

Fantastic episode! Loved seeing Ellen take the cake this episode. This Ellen/Patty showdown is living up to what I hoped it would. Also, what's happened to Michael? I know that it's hard to focus on external storylines (Sancho, Michael, etc.).

I HATE spoilers and would never give any, but I'll say that the ending of Season 4 was very satisfying.

I'll have to check out Argo. Have heard great things about it.

Nice to see someone reply after all these years like I did! If you haven't finished Season 4 yet, it gets better. I really enjoyed seeing the lengths to which Boorman and Erickson would go to cover themselves. Also, it is fascinating see Patty and Ellen "work" together. If that's even possible for them…
