I’m 30, and I’ve driven one. My main complaint was interior cheapness, but lack of acceleration and really “digital” (one moment there’s nothing, the next your face is in the windshield) brakes are right up there.

in grey it looks like an elephant with trunk dysfunction.
DON’T.
How does this compare to YouTube TV? They keep tempting me with free trials, and I can turn a Pi Zero into a Chromecast relatively easily.

that 3-banger is a really quality engine if you buy the manual. And it has a traditional automatic, even, so you don’t get the issues with the 2.0's DCT which has been kind of an albatross around Ford’s neck, at least in the Focus of late.
It’s quite a fun engine, especially behind a manual. It drives like two different cars; a sedate, economical car that eats up the miles and an eager participant in whatever mild shenanigans you wanna engage in. That boost makes a big difference once you get on it. Driving a slow car fast is just as much fun as driving…
be a person with legs and sit in the back of one behind a moderately tall driver. It’s unpleasant.
ya i’m sorry ford but that’s eek-oh-sport. and it’s really neither. it’s a tall Focus-sized car with a Fiesta interior and less rear foot room. The Focus Active might be okay if they -RS or -ST it up.
You can only buy manuals on basic-bitch economy cars or on performance cars. Sometimes the slower option is more fun, because it’s a slow car that feels surprisingly eager.
I feel like an air-cooled VW is more of a “dugga-dugga-dugga” sound...
3d printed new ones exist. If you don’t mind them looking a little tacky.
Something tells me he’s going to need a speedometer with larger numbers on it.
I’ve had a lot of cars in my time, from an ‘84 Mazda GLC to an E30 BMW, to a TJ Wrangler, and as much as I wanted to keep them forever, I couldn’t. They start demanding more money than you can spare.
mine’s attached to an aerodynamically slippery 4-door family car, and it only has 3 cylinders. And it has a 6-speed attached.
Mine gets about 33 mpg throughout the week, and 35-38 on long trips. Damn sight better than the 20MPG I was getting in my ZJ.
Brake cleaner dissolves that oil with a quickness.
the two cars I got rid of after I bought my Focus were both old enough to buy beer and had a combined 380k miles on them. I put 30k on them, combined.
Go put your $4500 down on a new Focus or Fiesta or Fusion or even an Escape. Those will have warranties, which reduces your overall stress level, and will be a lot more economical in the long run.
Source: I’m 30 and am on car #13. I could’ve put all that money into something new that I liked and still come out ahead.
I have this headcanon where math jokes with ! in them should use ¡ at the beginning to avoid this confusion
