I can’t say I’ve ever had a -heavy- helmet, but I did have a CF Bell that was remarkably light. Problem was, it was also incredibly loud, even with earplugs in. Needless to say I’ve barely touched it since.

Living in a hot climate, I’d put venting above aero above light. I can deal with a heavy helmet, and I don’t go fast enough to get much lift, but if my brain jug starts overheating I start seeing things.

I went to the St. Louis auto show a few years back, and the people at the lotus booth were incredibly condescending and rude. Definitely put me off lotus (before I had enough sense to realize that only Doug Demuro is crazy enough to daily drive an Elise/Exige).

It’s to simulate the forward acceleration of braking. Typically works much better when you can’t see outside so you don’t realize the world is moving around you.

The manufacturers? No. The cars? Absolutely.

I find the ST to be pretty slow, but my standard of “fast” is distorted from riding motorcycles.

I use a similar beast. It’s a shame, because it can actually hold its own, spec-wise.
