It has a lot more to do with Palestinian rights than you could possibly imagine.

It ain’t nearly dead enough. Got a problem with me asking why five Israeli nationals were caught filming the 9/11 attacks and cheering?
Just remember, if you didn’t support former Israeli intelligence operative Sivan Kurzberg’s right to take a photo of himself holding a lit cigarette lighter up in front of the smoking ruins of the Twin Towers after filming the attacks with four of his friends and cheering, you’re against the First Amendment!
My response to this was no less than “Where do the Eliot Engels of the party actually come from?”
Make me, you terrified little coward.
I didn’t hate the Pats in 2001. I didn’t even give a shit about them at all until the end of that decade when they got caught cheating repeatedly and then one of their star players got strung out on PCP and killed a bunch of people.
They’ve done most of what you think they’ve done, and hundreds of things you never caught them doing. All other teams either have done or would do the same if they could have positioned themselves to benefit from that level of dodgy behavior.
Lucky, or good?
Many of the posts in response to this article are also amazing examples of why we still need the Second Amendment.
Ever lived in a bad neighborhood in the United States among people with no respect for human lives, including their own?
Oh, our American Christian apocalypticist “friends” scare the daylights out of even some of the Israelis, which is actually pretty hard to do. A young Israeli friend of mine, made in an era of childhood before adult politics drove us apart, once described to me in absolute horror the way they thought, realizing fully…
Oh, I’m no stranger to the notion that most religions are less peaceful than they like to think they are, and that includes many variants of historical Judaism, including the time of the Zealots that you mentioned.
Sorry - wrong link - that was only one particular example.
You and others might be surprised by the amount of the U.S. map that has adopted some form of formal government measure intended to either criminalize the boycott or criticism of Israel, or simply effectively sanction all state businesses from ever having dealings or employment of an individual who has boycotted or…
Remember that episode of NCIS where Eli David visits and is wounded in the attack on Leon Vance? And Liat castigates Ziva for not keeping Eli safe because she believes Israeli security procedures would have prevented this - to which Ziva bitterly responds, “Oh yes, because there is never any violence in Israel!!!!”
Seriously. Where is the line?
May I ask you why you keep deleting my posts, Sophie?
I’ve long held that the one of best points of comparison for Israel is Liberia. The African-American colonists who returned to Africa were undeniable brutal and cruel to the locals who they subjugated into plantation-style servitude, but the ruling class was (and to some extent still is) nevertheless black.
Sophie, I am not going to tell you again - stop deleting my posts about the “five dancing Israelis” caught filming the 9/11 attacks and cheering.
