Not to bust on our friend posting above, but, his buying a lot of pokeballs from the in-game store has zero zip nada to do with the tracking issues, and those issue are not a valid reason to ask for a refund.

Pokemon nicknames are only seen by the owner. So, yeah. Good job there, random player.

Well, it basically prevents some 9 year old kid from rolling up to a gym and seeing a bunch of pokemon named “FUCKYOU” and “QUEEFEATER” and such. There’s no stopping that with the trainer names, but still.

I think part of it, aside from the ha-ha factor, is it just takes a single potion to heal those suckers once they get the boot. If it’s a gym that flips a lot, why not throw a low-HP critter on it, just for the XP (and maybe the daily gym bonus) instead of a beefier one that will take more resources to heal up?

Only you can see your pokemon’s nicknames :P

Which would win - one Snorlax-sized Pidgey, or 100 Pidgey-sized Snorlaxes?

He did that weird thing with his mouth a bunch of times again, didn’t he?

Scott Baio spoke at the RNC.

Collect every goddamn Pidgey you see. Hoard them, and hoard the candies.

That’s So Raven!

Perhaps never before has the “Special ed” modification of those logo stickers meant so much.

Not a dropped chain in that last bit. Looks more like a shifter cable gone awry. Just sayin’.

This guy’s argument sounds like this encounter I had on a playground as a kid. Other kid hits me in the shoulder. I hit him back in the shoulder. He hits me again, and then proclaims “Now we’re even!”

The gym pictured is right off a main highway. It, like all stops/gyms, is an Ingress portal, this one in Rachel, NV.

Now playing

Oh, I’m all for them opening up submissions for new spots. That would be awesome.

Bah no sweat. It’s been amusing for me (an Ingress player since it came out for iPhone) seeing all the back and forth on the topic :)

PG is brand spanking new and based on a beloved franchise. Plus, it was hyped like hell going in. So it’s no surprise there are big crowds currently.

Ingress never took off

Filling out that form gets you this back via email, apparently:
