Note to BF3 players who immediately hop into helicopters/tanks that have more seats available:

Same here.

I may switch to a local open credit union later on - but when I was shopping before, said CU offered interest on a savings account that wasn't much more than Chase. TCF beat both handily.

I switched banks earlier this year, from Chase to TCF Bank (based out of Minnesota), but it wasn't so much about fees and such - it was about interest rates. Plus a little bit of "Chase gobbled up WaMu, which I liked".

Fifth of November. Think Guy Fawkes.

Yah, this used to be the thing to do back in the day - when a neighborhood kid has X, other families would bring their kids over for playtime, to get their kid infected, so he/she could go through the process and be done with it.

I imagine the sudden presence of much more river water will be more of an impact :)

That was pretty cool.

I'm enjoying it so far. Just got to the point where I've put down the pirate's goons and gotten up and out of that holding area...

Uncharted 3: Anyone else notice the difference in the character model faces, during the cutscenes?

It's not just water they pump down into the ground - there's a whole mess of various chemicals in that mix. And the fracking companies call said lists of chemicals "intellectual property" and basically refuse to disclose what it is they're pumping down into the ground, which ends up in water tables that people end up

I'm enjoying U3 so far, but I have to echo your comments to a degree - it's not a big change from U2. New story, yeah. Some good backstory stuff (made me think of the opening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, with River Phoenix as young Indy), but it's not an evolutionary step forward.

Aside from the Dark Phoenix plotline rape, I enjoyed that film. It was cool to see more of the bad mutants show up, and of course RRS starkers. It wasn't a perfect film, not by far, but was still fun.

Eh. You still win IMHO. :)

Kinda sorta. They did have to take into account the real world, i.e. that the film wouldn't necessarily do good enough that a sequel would be greenlighted.

"Gimme them milk-bones!"

Yah, that girl didn't deserve that.

It's not Liotta, that's for sure. But it kinda sounds like a guy trying to sound like Liotta.
