I played it on a PS3 so never saw the Caspian map. I did watch this one YouTube video of some obscenely long headshot, some guy trying several times to get the arc right. So I'm assuming the stat is from Caspian.

I can't speak for the Caspian map, but with the Metro map, there weren't a lot of really long-range headshot opportunities. Maybe defending the park area, if you got up high enough on a rock near the back wall, and could nail some poor fool spawning on the far end. And even then it'd have to be more luck than…

Yah, the difference two or three levels in a fight = pretty much certain death. It was crazy, I didn't care for it. And the power differential seemed pretty linear.
