And this is why I dug "Firefly" so much - that one episode where they acknowledged this very thing and had Jayne stick his beloved Vera inside a pressure suit so he could fire it in vacuum and fuck those ship thieves up good.

Well, I'm not positing the floating suited guy should fly backwards, but more that I'd expect him to slow as far as forward motion goes. And making comparisons between here on Earth and semi-freefall over the moon (1/6g, correct?) don't really fly.

Eons ago I used to work guest relations staff at a fairly major (at the time) comic convention. Met all sorts of industry folks - publishers, writers, artists, PR flacks, etc. Even got Stan Lee pissed at me once (though it was because I didn't find him at the airport and he ended up taking a cab).
