Where’s the DD214, Trump? Where’s the certificate?
Where’s the DD214, Trump? Where’s the certificate?
I grew up in a military family. Both parents were military one for 4 years, one for 20. I grew up near Fort Hood. I got my haircuts at the same $5 Korean and/or Black barbershops that the GIs did. I was on-post all the time either visiting friends, hitting the PX/commissary, and what have you. I did JROTC/ROTC from…
Yeah, and Kojima just kinda taped the reason into the game. But he’s been consistent with this sort of thing since at least MGS.
Cutaneous respiration. Reptiles and amphibians do it. Mammals do as well, though not at the same level of dependency. It’s a scientific enough reason to have her skin exposed.
But then again, this could’ve been applied to any male in the game, too.
I’ve run with one of two systems since day one of college:
1.) Dutch.
2.) Switch-off.
Dutch because well, it’s the modern day. Women work and can as such, pay for their own meals. Switch-offs because not everyone is the sort to take the initiative to ask out someone on a date, so rather than link payout to the person…
The keyblade looks cool, but how it’s been used like a sword is definitely a work of fiction. The double guard really fouls up movement.
So in addition to having no domestic policy planned, this asshat has no knowledge of foreign policy and military matters, much less plans.
If there’s ever a time that I’m actually, physically angry at the GOP, it’s now. Before, they were just a hazard to marginalized Americans. Now they’re a hazard to the rest of the…
I think the drawn line is “intent and/or effect of doing harm.”
“They want us to accept their beliefs and their ways. But they won’t accept our beliefs and our ways.”
$80NZ comes out to about $50USD? For what, 3 FOBs? Please tell me this involves additional story content, new weapons, or new/bigger locations to explore. Otherwise, count me out. This is kinda silly.

“Don’t make them feel guilty.”
Mine were pretty good about this and other issues. But I also had the benefit of being in schools around Ft. Hood, so the teachers there were often from all over the US and less likely to do some podunk shit like mask over negative parts in US history.
History is like a relationship with a spouse - you wanna know…
...that their grandchildren might be a hated minority in their own country.
You’re right about improvements in armor tech. Nanofibers, graphene, etc., offer some possibilities in that sense. The thing about anything military-procurement is that it suffers from dragged-feet innovation. Sure, they could fund improved armor research, but why do it when tooling (and therefore, funding) already…
Maybe, but the HMMWV would almost need to be a whole new beast to fit that requirement.
That’s probably what’ll happen. Even the DOD can’t come up with the money to insta-switch the various HMMWVs for the JTLVs. The vendor probably couldn’t do it either. It’ll likely phase on the HMMWVs over time (as they hit wear and tear) and as production costs likely lower. My bet is that the vendor will license out…
I think he ticked it a bit too far to expect a sudden grasp of the story, maybe by a notch or two. If he’s patient, they’ll get there. The audience is still just getting through the previous game or two, so it’ll take a bit.
That’s my thoughts, too. If your audience can’t piece together the narrative, have you effectively communicated it? While the content of the narrative might be fantastic, it doesn’t really matter if it’s not put out to the audience in a way they can access it.
On the real though, diamonds are bullshit. Here’s this rock you’re supposed to be buying because idk, marketing and “tradition” that we can’t really trace back anywhere.
