Truro is one of the most strict towns in the Commonwealth when it comes to land use. They have very good reasons, namely erosion and preserving scale in a town that is mostly Federally-protected land (Cape Cod National Seashore, thanks JFK). That happened years ago to a man from my hometown. IIRC, it was a faux ‘90s Ferrari built on a mid ‘80s Corvette. He discovered the fraud when he took it in to fix a mechanical problem. He was told that the problem was bigger than mere mechanical issues.
