Because being around lots of other people really annoys me. I like to be alone. Also, I have autism, so that should help clear up the weirdness.

Those are literally the exact same wheels I have on my truck.
People live in places with well water because they don’t want to live in a populated area. I know I wouldn’t. I don’t want to have neighbors within a mile of my house, and I want to have a large yard that is conducive to my hobbies. If that means having to install a filtration system or having a shorter life due to…
No. US. The left lane is for passing. Why would I drive continuously in a lane that’s intended for passing? If someone wants to drive faster than me, they’re welcome to pass me using the left lane.
I do not drive in the left lane. Always in the right.
Why would you be changing your speed if you have actual experience driving? The same applies for the mileage. If you are any good at driving, you should be able to keep your engine speed constant.
I don’t understand how people can’t keep the same speed all the time. I understand going up hills if you have an underpowered engine, but other than that, do people really have that little control over the movement of their foot? My cars don’t have cruise control and I can keep engine speed constant (+/- 10 to 20 RPM…
My perspective might be a bit different from most because my PCs are always workstations built for CAD, thermal/flow/fatigue simulation, rendering, and heavy multitasking between these tasks. The number one most important thing when building such a PC is ECC memory, and a CPU/motherboard that supports it. I’ve had…
I have no airbags in my cars. Therefore, I don’t have to worry about the recall.
- The simplicity of the Trabant 601 is amazing. Not only is it as basic as a car can get, but the engine only has 5 major moving parts and is air cooled. It’s a car where you’re in control of everything, and driving one makes you very aware of that fact.
The Trabant was my favorite car throughout my childhood and early teenage years. I loved the look, and the sheer simplicity of everything. To this day I much prefer very stripped down cars with no power anything and minimal electronics.

I never stated to remove all of those features from every car, but rather to simply offer a lower trim level.
I don’t get why everyone hates these interiors so much. As long as the seats aren’t terribly uncomfortable, I would definitely prefer an interior like that over any of this modern bullshit with the touch screens and “infotainment” or whatever. If I could go out and buy a single cab diesel pickup with a manual…
All my cars are pre-1990 and are all analog. My navigation system is a Rand-McNally road atlas and one of those little floaty ball compasses that goes on top of the dashboard. I like it that way because I don’t have to deal with annoying interface changes and I get to stop at service stations to look at the map/get…
Shouldn’t they have a job by the time they’re old enough to drive?

I use a map and stop every once in a while to look at it.
