It's sad how pathetic and underwritten ABC portrays it's Black Male characters (Henry SImmons on Marvel's Agents of Shield and Malik Yoba on Designated Survivor). Their cringe-worthy failures call attention to the fact that: A - this is a feminist fantasy tale; and B -: Black characters are cast begrudgingly at most.…

I'm sure it happens occasionally in real life but it always distances me from the story when the sheriff is a woman (I mean how does that happen, were there no male candidates for the position?) :-)
