The people in this thread that are offended by Nathan Rabin mocking the sort of people who use the term "social justice warrior" seem pretty overly-sensitive to me.
I do get what you mean, though.

It's actually a pretty great "tell", like someone bragging how "politically incorrect" they are. It's kind of a translation for "I AM A BIGOT WHO DOESN'T WANT TO GET CALLED A BIGOT."

I dunno, I use "special snowflake" on people regardless of political persuasion. For example, "Hey look, a racist who doesn't want to be called a racist, so this special snowflake will rail against 'pc police' and 'social justice warriors'."
