That's what I thought too.
That's what I thought too.
This is pretty exciting but I wish they'd announce it and say it's coming out next month, or tomorrow.
Twitter is a toilet.
OK, so how about this? The MIB is a modified or just "awake" host/robot and has been looking to escape westworld to murder people for real. The maze is a way out?
If it's so, why not just make it clear that the timelines are different? Why make it so convoluted?
I don't know.
Sometimes I'm bothered at how real the robots look. Even if the robot prostitutes were slightly more robotic, I still would, if you get my meaning. Not that I'm necessarily into that.
That's what I was trying to say.
Right, but Keith is saying those were retired after 20 years possibly and then the new versions were put into place. So my question is I didn't see much of a difference in the AI in the supposed "old" timeline and the AI in the present. The question being how does Keith address that discrepancy.
Was there a marked difference in AI between the robots in the "early" timeline vs. the ones in the present? So, after 20 years they switched to organics and did they make very little progress afterwards?
Shit. Does the futuristic Donald Trump know?
I always thought Blade Runner took place in a futuristic LA. I haven't seen it in a while though.
I don't see how the MIB and William could be the same guy. They're completely different builds, etc. Maybe the MIB still IS the Yul Brenner character. And all that stuff from the movie plays out in that timeline.
So, I started thinking that if the technology existed to create the robotic "people", not to mention the maintenance of the park itself, wouldn't there be a better use for it besides creating realistic f$%k/kill dolls in an amusement park? Or does it make sense because whoever's bankrolling something like this would…
Well, I'll just say that your response seemed sarcastically ass-ish. I piss on your piss, we are friends again?
It's confusing because of the robots' perspective/memories looping and sort of breaking down (Dolores, Maeve).
I think I see what you're saying. I was thinking timelines as in all time was fluid, but you're saying the "original" duo that match the 1973 Westworld characters are from a different time than the MIB time.
I'm sure it's because you're the smartest person in the room.
How does it give credence?
How is that evidence of different timelines and not just a change in scripts/robots?
