That's really good to know. I think I might give the show a shot. Competitiveness has always made me uncomfortable, so I tend to avoid things like this by default.
Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for replying. I might actually give the show a shot, and I'm definitely recommending it to my mom.
Also, "rum!" I don't drink it, but it's so much fun to cook with.

Is it any different from American cooking shows? Because those are some of my least favorite things ever.

My wife and I both love Ayoade.
I have a bad feeling she's going to want us to watch this show now.

I will watch any film that Brad Dourif appears in. There are a fair amount of crummy movies, but any time he's on screen, it's like finding a diamond. He brings his A-game to every single production.
I know he's somewhat interview-averse, but I really hope for a few more of these.
That being said, great interview!

I love when I get to one of these early enough to see "1 Comments" at the end of the text. But when I scroll down, there are always way more than one comments.

What a nice thing to do!
I saw them touring for the Feels album and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
The next time I saw them, they were all at their computers the whole time, so I left.
But, what a nice thing to do!

If you've never seen David Byrne's film True Stories… I don't know if I recommend it or not. I can see how most people wouldn't get into it. But, goddamn, if it isn't one of my favorite films. It's just so different from anything else out there.
And remember:
Shopping is a feeling.

Tony Zwigoff is a sucky director.
His brother, however…

Chris O'Dowd is Humps, unsuspecting people.

I thought it said nuns and sloths collide.
Disappointment now colors my morning.

You shut your face! Petunia was the sweetest girl I…
Oh my god.

Wow. She looks a lot like my first girlfriend.

I like the idea of making the Newswire more like Starwipe.

That is true. But I wonder if that was due to the focus of the interview. He definitely seems like he's capable of a number of different perspectives.

This was a great interview. I was expecting to dislike his opinions, but I'm left wanting to read his stuff, as well as most of the books he mentioned.

It's tough. I want to watch it, but then the squirming starts.

I like this Eric Andre guy, even if I can't stand watching his show. It's just… too uncomfortable.

I was helping clean out my grandmother's house this weekend, so I had to read this in bits and spurts. But,
Will Harris, if you're reading this, thank you.
