Yeah they really need to add some variety to those (instead of just “cold and aliens” maybe like, radiation leaks and rogue automated defenses, or too hot and a single unstoppable thing chasing you down, etc.), and then apply the same to the ground side bases to give those a little more to do in as well.

But the scope creep is going to keep this game from going gold for probably another 5 years at least.

Basically, Anime Crimes Division has the same comedic chops as any given episode of Brooklyn 99, sans its thinly-veiled copaganda, and injects it with a bunch of nerdy anime nonsense we can all relate to.
