Wes Anderson backlash is so strange to me. The guy has generated little-to-no controversy in 25+ years of making major movies and he puts out a reliably solid (and lucrative) product.

I think Legion/Umbrella Academy have moments where they get there (though only one is Marvel).

Narration used at the beginning of his films:

I’m so glad it hasn’t happened, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t morbidly curious what a Wes Anderson Marvel movie would be like.

But if you could do this one thing, why would you do anything else?

Also it really is his thing, and his thing only. I hope he never changes.

I know there are people who get tired of Wes Anderson because he only does The One Thing, but I still get excited over every new movie of his. I mean, yeah, he only does The One Thing, but he does it so well.

Exactly! Why aren’t more men offended by this take? It’s saying you’re a vicious, amoral predator who can’t be trusted alone with any woman! That’s a terrible thing to say about someone.

The unspoken part of these arguments is that it makes all men out to be assholes. If you honestly believe in the “You went to a guy’s hotel room, what did you expect?” you’re admitting that a) you think the victim is an idiot and b) all men are devious predators.

Well considering I just had to uninstall Origin because it kept giving me pop ups to log in even after disabling it in my start up settings... things like that are why I like Steam. It doesn’t really mess with me, it does what I want it to and has a lot of features other services don’t. I don’t have a devotion to it,…

It got there first, people got used to it and people hate change.

Now, Steam’s offerings are really good, but they’re not good enough to avoid other platforms entirely if the deals are right especially given how easy it is to switch between games on different platforms. 

Then you’re pretty out of touch. It’s the only e-store that has near as wide a selection of games while also having good sales and decent features. It's got issues, sure, but EGS, as an example, is hot garbage as a store. 

My problems begin within moments of B.J. waking up. First off, this is a man who has been in bed for five months. Following my aortic dissection in March of 2018, I woke up in a hospital bed in mid-April and could barely move my arms and fingers. It took a good month to restore a proper range of motion. But once that was cleared up, the drama still continued. The tone of the piece certainly isn’t very sympathetic to Jameel, for an error that’s most certainly not hers. And why didn’t the House Mother who auditioned for the show tweet at any of the other two non-Voguers hired for the show?

Because this site hates her for some unknown reason.  God knows they’ve given other women of color a pass for far more problematic things.
