Reading this a.) made me laugh and b.) wonder about how much of your total snark capacity (TSC) you had to use. Mine is quite low at the moment, so if you wanted to bottle some of that, I’d def buy.
Wow. I really would’ve thought it’d be the other way around. Good to know.
There is a family of groundhogs living under my house (mama+four groundlings.) They are smart and curious and adorable. And they are going to eat everything that I care about. Fuck it.
This is... this is just too much. Too much cuteness. I think I may be having a stroke. Or I am overwhelmed with love and strangely maternal feelings. Perhaps that’s the stroke-brain talking.
I had to read that line like, 3 times before it took. Brilliant!
Is that a young Ron Swanson?
I’ve never considered that. Holy crap!
I hate to deflect here, but this concept sounds very LeGuinian à la Wizard of Earthsea.
It was also covered on major news outlets.
That’s an interesting point you make. I came from TX to the PNW with the (misguided, wholly aspirational) notion that I wouldn’t have to pick my battles because it was so much more progressive. WRONG! It was almost more difficult in a way; I’d let my guard down in a very homogenous community and was pretty dismayed to…
Oh ma god, that was hilarity.
Neck nipple made me reverse snort my coffee
I’d give you all the stars if I could.
I get what you’re saying, but 31,200 sounds like a world of stability compared to service wages or “independent contractor” wages, the latter of which tends to be higher in my experience, but I come out poorer after taxes. It’s shit if you are supporting a family, but for those who are doing so now on minimum, it…
You take that back.
I’ve worked w/ some small, diversified farms, and among 2 of them, there was definitely an impulse to shoot hawks that mess with their flocks. I think that’s shitty. It indicates that there’s a flaw (or several) in the system they’ve developed and it needs to be addressed.
I too, have no discernible talent and an aloof gaze. GIVE ME YOUR MONIES NOW!
Ah, yes; the L’eggo waffle sandwich was a staple of my early culinary development. I think(?) she’ll grow out of it.
Hella weird. But some ppl really like their ramen smashed and crunchy, so, meh.
