You’re in NC? In Alamance, the lines are crazy. Some gas stations have put a max on how much fuel you can buy (in a place full of super ultra duty trucks). It makes me want to work on my peak oil preparation game.

Honest question here, how come everyone hates on HamNo? He makes strong statements sometimes, but I really appreciate his articles on labor, economics and housing, at least as a launchpad into an issue or other sources around an issue.

A few days ago, a commenter posted a link to a MetaFilter thread about emotional labor. I am STILL engulfed in it, and it helped me understand some of my relationships make me so goddamn tired, and also why the double standards in partnerships like this^ are so toxic.
