It's so much easier to be dismissive than to actually have to think, isn't it?

Their hardware is always profitable, though. You're suggesting they just throw away that profit and place their faith in competitors' hardware?
Praising Nintendo for being Nintendo is not "giving them a pass." It's acknowledging that they have a design philosophy that works.
Sounds like you’re not that interested in fun or...you know, video games in general.
Sorry to hear that. I've been too busy playing SSB, Mario Kart, Splatoon, and the Metroid Prime trilogy to notice the crap, I guess.
People have been saying this for years, and it has never been true or made any sense. Nintendo is making plenty of money doing exactly what they’re doing. Licensing out their IPs to other developers would be like Disney licensing out Mickey Mouse; they’d only be devaluing their brand.
They did, though. If they don't enforce their media policy then they can't expect anyone to adhere to it. Not firing this guy is just asking for bigger, more potentially damaging leaks in the future.
Nah, I'd say he was setting up for the diving header and had to improvise at the last second.
The only correct response here is to get the fuck over it and move on with your life.
If you can't pass up a $60 game for your principles then they aren't really your principles.
I like how he chose robes to complement his beard.
Not only are you putting up straw men, but you’re just copying and pasting the same straw man across the board. This is some lazy trolling.
Nintendo can do as little or as much as it likes, but they did make it clear up front that this sort of thing was a fireable offense if reports regarding the language of the contracts offered to Treehouse employees are to be believed. From that standpoint it's hard to blame anyone other than the employee for the…
Arkham City meets Eurotrip?
Oh, hey, an actual argument. Was that really so difficult?
I’ve got about 5 more interesting and engaging conversations going on with people who actually have something to say, so I don't have any more time for your trolling. Have a nice day.
If it’s outlined as a fireable offense in his contract, then it’s a fireable offense. It’s not like he didn’t know he was breaking the rules. Did they have to fire him? No. Did he know damn good and well that they could when he made the decision to break the rule? You bet. I don’t see how Nintendo can be blamed for…
Still no point to make, huh? Shocking.
And if you don’t you send the message that you won’t enforce your own media relations rules, and you open the door for the next guy to spill even more important information.
Well I can't very well argue with someone who doesn't have an argument to make, can I? If you want to make a point somewhere along the line, maybe I'll give you more than a brush-off. Until then, go fuck yourself.
