Have fun defining yourself so heavily by the pop culture that you partake in that you get offended when someone else offers a differing opinion.

At the end of the day, there's only one complaint that matters. The movie was boring. It was all style, and no substance. I mean, it's pretty hard make 2 hours of explosive car chases boring, but when you have no reason to care about any of the characters, that's what happens. He may have created a deep world

Skyrim does not have better combat than anything.

It’s not that I needed the movie spelled out for me. It’s that there wasn’t anything to spell out. I’m all for showing instead of telling. This movie just didn’t have anything to show me except explosions and car chases. All that’s fine if its in service of a narrative or characters I cared about. George Miller did

I went into the movie expecting to be entertained. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation. I love action movies, but action has to be in the service of characters and a story that I care about, or it’s just hollow spectacle.

We clearly aren't going to agree here. I just thought the whole movie was all flash and style and no substance at all.

And all of that is summed up in a 3 second scene where a girl touches his face. That is not good storytelling, sorry.

His point is invalid because he's assuming the Witcher 3 trades substance for size. It doesn't.

You haven’t played the game. That’s not a question. It’s a statement of an obvious fact.

None of that makes his complete 180 the least bit believable from a character perspective.

No.

Yes, and that’s a paper-thin plot with practically no character development.

One dimensional characters helping one dimensional characters is no substance.

Survival is not a plot. At best it’s a theme.

I don't care that you don't want to talk about it. I just find it childish how much you want to talk about how little you want to talk about it.

I'm glad you brought up Nux, because he's a perfect example of my point. No explanation is ever even attempted in terms of why he immediately rejects the philosophy that he was slavishly devoted to mere hours prior. He just joins up with Furiosa and Max because.....a redhead touched his face? It's just one of the many

There’s literally no more conversation to be had with you. You have nothing to say.

This is how I know you’re a child. You’re literally too naïve to understand that people have differing opinions on things, and you think this makes you superior somehow.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was speaking with a child. That's the internet for you, I guess.

More than any other game I’ve ever played the sidequests are worth doing in The Witcher 3. Not only do they often intersect with and flesh out the main quest, the storytelling is some of the best in the game even when they don't. Doing the Witcher Contracts especially is my favorite part of the game so far.
