and how come the PS4 is more powerful, yet way smaller and has an integrated power supply - that's just nuts

It is the undisputed king of games where you dance in front of your TV, I'll give it that.
I tried that briefly, but found that the slight input lag it produced killed any possible benefit to the setup.
I absolutely loved the 360 compared to the PS3, which is why it's so disappointing to see Microsoft shit the bed with the XB1. 360 was my go-to console for that entire generation. I jumped ship when it was clear Microsoft was more interested in gimmicky voice and motion control and television overlays. Not to…
It doesn't have less processing power. The Kinect's processing power was never going towards rendering the game in the first place. It went towards features I never wanted anyway. I'm not worried about the "less features" because I don't like any of the Kinect features to begin with. They take more away from my…
Fair enough, but I got the one without Kinect. I don't hate money that much.
As someone with all three new-gen systems, here's how it breaks down for me:
Comments like yours are why I don't play LoL.
Actually, it is a clear win, because 3 is a larger number than 2.
You're applying your own sense of worth to other people's opinions. Obviously to those people those complaints are more important than they are to you. You're kind of being a disrespectful dick, which would explain why you have a hard time seeing the disrespect in Bungie's actions.
I have complaints about the game too, but I'm not sitting here and whining about them every chance I get, because I'm still enjoying the game as a whole.
That was a dumb, willfully ignorant comment. With comments like that, you must be a part of one of those communities that doesn't deserve respect.
Is Destiny's player base one of those communities? If so, why?
That's a good idea, since you can't avoid being holier-than-thou. I must be hard to hear me from all the way up on that horse.
You need to go back and read what I read. You're misinterpreting the word "ideal." I said I was supporting the ideal of player choice, not the ideal choice. I'm not saying my opinion is the ideal opinion. I'm expressing my opinion about an ideal; the ideal of player choice.
Players had to option to solo events they no longer have the option to solo. That's a choice taken away.
Where did I say I was speaking for you? I'm speaking for the concept of player choice and respect for one's user base. If you want to bitch that people are asking for things you don't want, go bitch to those people.
Sorry, I misspoke. They haven't taken matchmaking. They've taken away the option to do without it on some events. Either way it's removing options for players without providing any additional benefit.
They aren't my views. They're what players are asking for.
Nor is it worth taking those options away when the only result is to piss people off needlessly. That's disrespecting your user base.
