Weird article. Having said that, at least in the southeast, how is the 4Runner not mentioned? There is not a single 4Runner, or just about every Toyota, that does not have some insanely overpriced dealer added junk to the sticker.

I think there’s something fishing going on with how they measure “markup” for this analysis because most of the cars on this list are readily available at or under MSRP on autotrader.

Back in my 20s, I never got over 8k miles out of a set of tires. For some reason, the tires always had a sort of gooey layer of rubber on the tread that looked like it was melted. Must have been something wrong with the car and tires I had back then.

That’s true, but you could say the same about any large luxury barge made in the past 10-20 years and those don’t share this issue. Most likely the owner was driving aggressively and wore them down quickly. In terms of weight and power that car is basically a hellcat, so it’s no surprise he was able to wear the tires…

She made no secret that she was not going to comply. I’m very happy they finally took care of it but good gawd did they take their sweet ass time.

She should have to pay the cost of her incarceration and all the legal fees up to this point.

god I read the headline and was afraid they were getting rid of old.reddit. Regular reddit is so fucking bad, like I literally don’t understand why it exists. But I guess it follow the standard internet pattern of taking something that is simple, elegant, and useful and changing it to something ugly and hard to use.
